Live to 120

Dr. Hazel ParcellsThe longevity secrets to extend your youth span.

My mentor, Dr. Hazel Parcells, lived till 106. As the grande dame of alternative medicine, she was wise, well spoken, and decades ahead of her time. Her life experience didn’t come easy. She earned every single year of her long life after a diagnosis of incurable tuberculosis complicated with heart and kidney issues. Dr. Parcells was forced to change the way she ate, lived, and thought. As Dr. Parcells would say, “Don’t say die; say damn, and keep going. Dying is easy, but it’s living that’s difficult.”

The good doctor’s wellness wisdom is reflected in many of my books. As one of her prized students, I studied with her for nearly twenty years. She shared with me many of her keys to health and healing like the principles of kitchen chemistry, the importance of essential fats in all aspects of health, the ability to measure the electromagnetic properties of food, and the necessity of therapeutic baths.

To this day, my kitchen proudly displays a Thea Lite to neutralize metallics, pollutants, and additives in food. This special light utilizes magnetic fields and light energy to purify various food items like cream, butter, cheese, nuts, seeds, grains, and beans. I recently discovered that the website elixa.com sells these special lamps.

Dr. Parcells was once interviewed by Alternative Medicine Digest many years ago and shared her Top 12 Long Life Keys. Here they are for your consideration:

1. Don’t believe the doctors if they say your condition is untreatable.
2. Master your kitchen chemistry.
3. Understand that energy is the master key to health.
4. Preserve the life energy in foods through correct preparation and cooking.
5. Match the energy of foods to your body’s specific energy and needs.
6. Master the kitchen science of correct food combining to optimize digestion and absorption of nutrients.
7. Restore your body’s acid alkaline balance.
8. Neutralize and eliminate harmful pollutants from your food, air, and water through cleansing them.
9. Add more energy to your body and foods using color and magnetic fields.
10. Detoxify your body and cleanse your colon of possible parasites.
11. Support your endocrine glands with supplements.
12. Know and manage your body’s energy fields.

Dr. Parcells’ influence lives on in my newest release. My emphasis on the forgotten importance of the lymphatic system and golden rules of food combining are based upon what I first learned from her teachings so many years ago. As we all do our best to stay young and healthy in the new year, I am again reminded of Dr. Parcells’ sage advice, “Trade your wishbone for a tailbone and get to work!”

As a retired FCS (Family and Consumer Sciences -Home Ec.) teacher, I find that these courses on food and nutrition are so sorely missing in today’s education. People don’t have a clue about their food, how to cook, etc. and this is adding to our woes as a nation. Today I heard the statistics on shorter life spans. How sad that we are being fed artificial foods, colors, etc. and these companies are making millions at our expense. Thank you, Dr. Gittleman, for teaching us !!

It seems like many years ago, I followed your Fat Flush Plan and Cook Book I had great results, and gave them as gifts. Since then my lifestyle has changed dramatically. I’m very stressed, 76 yr old woman who still needs to work. I just recently been diagnosed with diverticulosis, and mild duodenal inflammation. High Fiber diet has been recommended , I am also diabetic II with high cholestrol and BP. I’m anxious to try your New Fat Flush Plan book. With this diagnosis, is it a plan I can follow?

  • Ann Louise December 10, 2016 - 9:15 am Reply

Hi Cynthia: Thanks for your post. I think that the New Fat Flush Plan will help heal your inflammation and provide you with the ideal plan to follow for your condition. The new program is soothing and very gentle on the GI tract. Good luck!

I have had unexplained infertility for 8 years and just found out that I’m pregnant! Naturally!!! I’m concerned because I no longer have a gallbladder, and my digestion is rather sluggish on its own. I want to keep my liver and lymph healthy so I can filter all these extra hormones properly, but I don’t want to do anything to harm a growing baby. Is the new Fat Flush Plan safe for pregnancy? Are there certain modifications or precautions to observe on the diet while pregnant or breastfeeding?

    • Ann Louise December 10, 2016 - 11:40 pm Reply

Hi Amanda: I believe that phase 3 of the New Fat Flush Plan is ideal for pregnancy and breastfeeding! My own stepdaughter has used it and now has a beautiful healthy baby boy and is still breastfeeding!!

Ann…what is the difference between your New Fat Flush Plan book and your Fat Flush for Life book??

    • Ann Louise December 10, 2016 - 11:44 pm Reply

Hello: The New Fat Flush is a more up to date program with the latest healing fats, sweeteners, and supplement recommendations for restoring the liver, flushing the lymph, and kickstarting weight loss. The Fat Flush For Life is a seasonal detox with targeted three month plans for summer, fall, winter, and spring. They both can be intertwined for keeping your health in tip top shape!

I had my gallbladder removed when I was in my 40’s (Now 76).
I have always wondered what we do without it. I love eating fat foods for health. However your book “Fat Flush” sounds as though it is solely for an over weight person. I am seriously underweight, and wonder if this book can help me.
My thoughts are that it can, but would I end up thinner?
I have hypothyroidism among other things, High blood pressure, energy problems, tiredness etc.
However I live on my own, still doing part time work (farm and accounting) keep a big property and I am far from innactive like a lot of my friends of similar age.

My question again: Would this book help me?
    Kind regards
    Pam Simmons NZ

Pam, you could benefit from the great information in the New Fat Flush Plan. When you do phase 3, the Lifestyle phase, you won’t lose weight. Not only does the book have the latest information about fats and the gall bladder but also the thyroid connection. This is really a detox plan.

Thank you for upholding Dr Parcells information. My husband and I video taped all the doctors classes and we have a lot on her in candid talks. We use and teach her work and live by her principles. I often times say I don’t know how people function without this information, especially raising children.
We would love to do something with this footage. Would you be interested in collaborating?

    Hello Dr. Gittleman!
I was thrilled to read once again about Dr. Parcells! I had the pleasure of spending the day with her about a year before she passed, at her home in Sapeo, New Mexico. She wanted to train me to pass on her methods and I turned her down! I could kick myself in hindsight!
I have read both of her books that dear Joseph Dispenza wrote about her. Priceless info!

I just got my kidney function results back and found out that my Creatinine is below 60, too low,
and they could not measure the eGFR level because of the low Creatinine. I am 62 years old and in good health otherwise. Could lose 5 pounds, haha. Would your new book’s info help my kidneys and low creatinine? I DO have the new book! Planned to read it after the holidays!

Thank you for your advice. I have read many, many of your books, starting in the early 90’s, and post your articles regularly on my Facebook page.

I have ordered your parasite cleanse kit yesterday, as I have been dealing with a parasite infestation going on 6 months and about out of my mind. Is there a place or email where I could ask a couple of question and get an answer from the doctor? Or is this the place to do so. It is all so humiliating and embarrassing.

I have always been healthy and do not know a single sole who has or is experiencing what I am going through and have been to a dozen doctors who are not that helpful.

    thank you – desperate

    Hi Dr Gittleman,
I had come across you on the show Know the Cause and thoroughly enjoyed your discussion.
I purchased colon cleansing kit recommended off your website by unikey because concerned of stubborn fungal issue and possible parasitic.
I was looking forward to start kit and realized might end up w/ some weight loss in which already under weight, don’t know if it’s do to my excessive B12 level & folate level but wondering if weight loss from cleanse minimal?
Also, would you suggest tip to minimize herxeimer reaction. I found my liver enzyme & BP up very high when I took oil oregano, m thistle, olive leaf & probiotics.
    Thank you for your time,

    • Team ALG February 6, 2017 - 12:28 pm Reply

Hi Donna, weight loss during the Colon Cleanse is very individual and is based on what you are eating during the cleanse. When you are trying not to lose weight, you could add more good fat, like coconut oil to you diet. If your herxeimer reaction is too great you can take 1/2 of the recommended dose of the products to slow down the process.

    • Team ALG February 6, 2017 - 12:30 pm Reply

      Hi Donna,

If you are concerned about not losing weight, you can consume more healthy fat, like coconut oil. To slow down any reactions you can take 1/2 the recommended dose of the herbs if your dieoff is too intense.

I am a 64 yr. old woman with several auto-immune issues -joint pain, leaky gut, poor digestion (no gall bladder), low thyroid and adrenal function. I also believe I have candidiasis, parasites, and mercury toxicity ( bad dental history -all amalgams removed now). Would like to do a candida or parasite cleanse. Which of your publications details how to do these cleanses and in what order. Thank you so much for your helpful information. Betty

    • Team ALG February 6, 2017 - 12:34 pm Reply

Hi Betty, many of Ann Louise’s books talk about these issues. The Gut Flush Plan has the most detailed plan for dealing with this type of cleansing.
