    I’ve a concern. As a former Fat Flusher (who’s let things creep back), I know the diet works for me.

    My concern is that I’m older, 65. Basically, my skin doesn’t have the elasticity it used to. So I hesitate to start Fat Flush again because of how fast it works. Feeling that I need something that takes more time, so my skin can adjust.

    Suggestions?

    Yes – you are certainly right that Fat Flush works and works quickly. But if you take the CLA, GLA, and the recommended Omega-3 rich oils, your skin should be well supported, nourished, and hydrated – one of the reasons I have always included critical and essential fatty acids in my detox programs. I would also add some Great Lakes gelatin once or twice per day to the regimen to further support collagen and elastin retention. Why not forego the accelerated detox portion (phase 1) and begin instead with phase 3? By starting off with the Lifestyle Fat Flush Maintenance portion, you would slow down the “losing” process, allowing for the gentle detoxification benefits of the signature elements while giving your body time to reset its metabolism at a slower pace. Sound like a plan?

    Is this a good plan for Type 2 Diabetics. I am having a terrible time getting my A1C numbers down even though I take medicines 4 times a day. I don’t seem to have any control over food. I’m 59 yrs old, work 50 hours at stressful desk-bound job, only want to sleep when I get home. I’m at least 50-60 lbs overweight. What are your thoughts for diabetics? Thank you

      Hi Judy, You would likely do well on the classic Fat Flush Plan. Start with Phase 1 for two weeks, then follow Phase 2 until you’ve reached your goal, and Phase 3 will help you maintain your results. To address hypothyroidism, please call UNI KEY and see if you would be a good candidate for the affordable thyroid formula called Thytrophan PMG (800.888.4353). Adrenal support will be key, in addition to your Fat Flush Kit, so consider the Adrenal Formula from UNI KEY as well.     I did the fat flush plan yrs ago, with great success. Since then I have put on some weight due to foot surgery and breast cancer. I am on armdex, will be for 5 yrs, fosamax, catapres for blood pressure. I am not supposed to have anything that will affect my hormones, I.e. melatonin, etc. Dr. Also said no soy. I know the protein powder is free of soy, are the supplements? Also, is it safe for me to do the flaxseed in cran water, gla, cla, and supplements? Will any of them affect my hormones? I really want to do the accelerated plan. Thank you.

      Hi Elaine, The supplements in the Fat Flush Kit are free from any allergenic or hormone-influencing soy components. The Weight Loss Formula does contain soy lecithin as a scientifically proven means of improving liver function and helping to reduce high cholesterol. Please consult with you health care provider about the use of flax seeds, and make sure to use GLA from black currant seed oil rather than borage or evening primrose as those oils may increase estrogen in some women (black currant seed does not). Other than that, you can follow the plan just how it is written in the Fat Flush Plan book. Best wishes to you

    Here in Nevada, you MUST include at least a tablespoon of flax seed oil per day..that will amazingly help with weight loss AND skin elasticity and, for no extra charge, it is an anti-inflammatory-par excellence!

    I just started the Fat Flush smoothie shakedown and the taste is not bad at all. my husband went into the hospital and I went off my menu plan for a day, what do I do, do I start over again or just continue with the plan.

    I need to lose 20 lbs.

      The recipe for the Soup Diet soup includes ingredients that are not part of the Smoothie Shakedown, so unless it is modified, it is not acceptable.

    good morning,
    I am on my 11th day on the smoothie shakedown diet and I was doing well. I seem to be stuck right now and the weight has not been coming off.

    also I have not been going to the bathroom as I should, could that be the problem?

      Yes, that is likely the problem! Make sure you are drinking the full recommended amount of water and eating the recommended servings of vegetables each day. If you’re not already, add 2-4 tbs of chia or ground flax seeds to your daily intake. And if you’re already doing all of this, try taking 400-1200 mg of magnesium, then add a colon care supplement like Super GI Cleanse to your daily routine.

    This is such an inspiring testimony!
    The Fat Flush Plan was recommended to me in my late teen years after I began having horrible menstrual cycles, ovarian cysts, and eventually emergency surgery on a cyst that was nearly rupturing another organ.     I am a 52 year old women who is taking bio identical hormones for menopause. At 50, I was diagnosed with diabetes and have suffered from daily heartburn for the past 20 years. Previous to the hormones I had managed to loose 20 lbs but gained half of that back as soon as I started taking the hormones. Would this diet work for me if I’m on hormones?
