It’s true – I’ve rewritten the Rules of Nutrition – again. Our current understanding of nutrition has not only ignored, but villainized an entire group of essential fats necessary for building healthy cells – Omega 6 fats. For years, you’ve heard all about the amazing benefits of Omega 3 fats like fish oil and their tremendous health benefits, and for good reason. But the only news we’ve heard about Omega 6 is not at all good.

Omega 6 fats have been abused, in over-processed, rancid oils like soybean and canola, deep-fried foods, and in trans fats, all of which lead to inflammation and disease. But unadulterated Omega 6 fats are as good for your health as the Omega 3 fats, building healthy cell membranes, revving up your fat-burning metabolism, balancing your hormones, and so much more!     Such a great program! I’m doing the 21 Day now and love the foods. I haven’t measured yet but I feel slimmer. I have more energy and don’t need as much sleep.

    I have ordered the Radical Metabolism book anfpd the GLA-90 suppllements.
    I do not have a gallbladder and I know this issue is addressed in the book.This is one reason zi ordered this book as this issue was said to be discussed.
    However, I do not have a thyroid gland either .I do work either an endrcrnologist and take syntyroud.
    Do I have any chance of being successgpful on the lifestyle with either organ mentioned?.

    Just beginning the 4 day cleanse. the AM Rise and PM High Five drinks come out to way more than 8 oz even when I put in very little water. I am using a Blentec not a juicer, perhaps that is why? help please. I am drinking it all and hoping for the best. thank you

    Bttenda, Yes, you can be successful on the program. I know that taking the Weight Loss Formula and CLA in addition to the GLA and Bile Builder will even be more helpful for you. Bile Builder is a must when you don’t have a gallbladder. Hopefully by working with the endocrinologist your synthroid is at the proper level for you.

    Susan, When you leave the fiber in the drink will have must more volume. To do the juice as recommended you can strain it after using your Blentec. The nutrients from the juice will get into your blood stream faster that way.

    I have been on program for 4 Day cleanse and now 10 days of reboot I lost 4 lbs to start and now stuck – I am vegetarian and am having trouble finding protein other than beans. I do have more energy and that is great.

    Jonna, You can also use Hempfu (hemp tofu), tempeh, spirulina and the whey and vegan pea and rice protein powder options.

    have not found hempfu -have used some tempeh – sounds like other choices are to be used with liquids — what can I do to loose some weight? I am eating in suggested portions and still stuck at same weight

    Jonna Marie, Weight doesn’t necessarily come off in a straight progression. It can come off in chunks. That being said there may be underlying issues holding you back like hormone imbalances or a slow thyroid. Emphasizing foods higher in tyrosine can help your thyroid function. Spirulina and mustard greens are a couple of good sources. The Radical Metabolizer supplement is excellent for helping to normalize the fat burning hormones including leptin.

    Pat, See if you can find arugula as a substitute. If you can’t find that you could use Italian parsley or even regular parsley leaves.
