The Fat Flush Plan has a rather basic and clear-cut mission: to increase metabolism, flush out bloat, speed up fat loss, and decrease inflammation throughout the body. At the core of the plan is the commitment to promote a balanced lifestyle and champion simple healthy habits that we all overlook or forget about as a result of everyday life. Every aspect of each phase of the plan is targeted like a guided missile to accomplish this goal: slimming smart fats [e.g., flaxseed oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, avocado, gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)], metabolism-raising protein (eight ounces or more plus whey or rice and pea vegan powders), high-fiber flax seeds, chia seeds, and hemp seeds, rainbow colored veggies, modest amounts of low-sugar fruits, calorie-burning condiments and spices (e.g., apple cider vinegar, coconut vinegar, mustard, cayenne pepper, ginger, cumin, turmeric, and cinnamon), liver- and lymph-cleansing beverages, exercise, journaling, and even sleep.

The Fat Flush Plan is all about whole food nutrition. It eliminates all weight loss–inhibiting foods and beverages such as white flour, white sugar, margarine, vegetable shortening, artificial sweeteners (e.g., aspartame), and caffeine in regular coffee, tea, chocolate, and many soft drinks.

In fact, the more meals you build around the Fat Flush foods on the plan, the more weight you will lose and the healthier you will be. That’s right. Hunger will stop, food cravings will disappear, and even depression will noticeably lift, and triglyceride and cholesterol levels will balance out. Your circulation will increase, and you will look years younger as you feel reenergized, renewed, and refreshed.

The Fat Flush Plan is a springboard for a workable eating strategy. Each phase can be further individualized to target your personal needs by adding either more protein or more carbs sooner rather than later. For example, if you are a weight lifter or a large-framed, muscular individual, or if you have been suffering from severe stress due to an illness, you may need more than the 8 ounces of protein per day, perhaps even 12 ounces. Feel free to increase the meat, fish, poultry, or whey or pea and rice protein shake recommendations to fit your needs. Similarly, when you embark on the Two-Week Fat Flush but feel you absolutely must maintain your weekly high-intensity aerobic exercise and weight-strengthening program, then you may need to pop in a friendly carb or two right from the get-go.

The good news about the Fat Flush Plan is that you won’t have to cut out your favorite foods forever, nor will you have to maintain a strict daily routine permanently. You just need to know the basic principles of fat flushing, which are discussed below, so that you can rely on the foods that will keep you lean with the help of the easy-to-follow menus and simple recipes.

For those who want instant results, I have created a Three-Day Ultra Fat Flush Tune-Up to kick-start your weight loss journey. This program combines some basic tenets of Fat Flush with a fast metabolizer cocktail to motivate you with daily weight and inch loss. This tune-up precedes phase 1, “The Two-Week Fat Flush.” In phase 1, you will have not only 14 days of menus but more than 50 deliciously simple recipes to enjoy on the Two-Week Fat Flush. And you can always personalize any menu (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)—or recipe for that matter—to satisfy your own tastes based on the expanded lists of fat-flushing foods provided.

These cleansing diets will set the metabolic stage for phase 2, “The Metabolic Reset,” as well as phase 3, “The Lifestyle Eating Plan.” These two phases are discussed below.

Moreover, as so many of my clients have experienced, you can look forward to shedding unwanted pounds and feeling refreshed, cleansed, and nourished on all levels at every step of the plan. On the diet front, you will be putting a tight lid on, and counteracting, the effects of emotional eating, toxic foods, birth control pills, medications, and a stressful lifestyle. And this is important because your system likely has been overloaded and overburdened, creating havoc in your liver and lymph and decreasing your body’s fat-burning ability. The Fat Flush Plan allows you to clean up and take control of your body and your life.

Have you ever heard of the Tuberculosis Miasm (Homeopathy)that can be inherited? It causes the genetic tendencies toward certain things (there are four other miasms that affect health also). I recently discovered that my great great grandfather died of TB at about 40 years of age and had all of his children while he was infected (lived with it for over 16 years).

I am certain this has been transmitted in our family – my daughter struggles with thyroid, blood sugar, and weight issues (which are some of the TB miasms symptoms). No on seems to address these things. She has tried paleo and so many other diets but the weight does not come off (says she tried yours too – not sure she fully followed it though). She is very frustrated with dieting and supplements with no results.

Your diet worked for me about 12 years ago – after which I developed gluten intolerance and I am still trying to correct the damage from that (often wonder if it is because I totally eliminated wheat/grains on the diet – but slowly went back to eating them as it is veryhard to do in today’s society — much of my social life is out the window when you can’t eat wheat as people do not know what to feed you anymore and are afraid to cause problems).

Hi Lynn: I am very familiar with miasms and studied with a master homeopath in the 1970s who almost died of TB. I think Roundup is the culprit to modern day wheat sensitivities for us all. You should try to find a homeopath to help your daughter. You can also call my office to make an appointment for a consultation as well. Whatever path you choose, I wish you and your daughter the best of health!

Hi Gill, UNIKEY ships to the UK so you could order Bile Builder. We don’t know of a comparable supplements. Taking anything with ox bile in it could be helpful though.

    Hi Ann,

I am excited to start making my liver healthy today and start with the 3 day kickstart plan. Challenge is that with your new book coming out Im tempted to wait and lose a month of progress. Do you have any pilot programs I could enroll in so that I could start now on the new plan? Thanks!

Hi Megan: the 3 day kickstart is a great way to begin. Doing the Smoothie Shakedown or phase 1 will give you great results. You will be way ahead by the time your new book comes.

      Hi Megan,
I too am excited to get started with the new book. I have the previous book and have had much success. Like you, my liver was is very bad shape. The doctor in the ER told me that my liver enzymes and triglycerides were dangerously high and that I needed to do something right now, and to not wait. He told me that since the damage was not caused by substance, but rather being overweight, that I could fix it by changing my eating habits. I am 56 years old, 5’7″. In April when I started the fat flush I weighed 240 pounds. My cholesterol was over 400. As of October my weight was 160. My cholesterol is 125. I have been maintaining 160 pounds. Went from a size 20 to a size 8 and I feel great!!!!

Can you have a alcoholic cocktail before taking Bile Builder and Digestive Enzymes. I don’t have a gall bladder and have some gut problems. I was just wondering if there is anything in the Bile Builder or the Digestive Enzymes that I have to eliminate while taking them.

Diane, you don’t need to eliminate anything specific when you take the Bile Builder and Digestive Enzymes.

Hi Ann, I just bought the new book and plan to start the New Fat Flush Plan tomorrow. I had used the original Fat Flush plan years ago with some success. I was wondering, what happened to the Long Life Cocktail? Am I missing something or is that no longer part of the plan? Thanks, Katie

Welcome back Kathleen! Your choice of seeds may be used in your smoothies or sprinkled on your food instead of having them in the Long Life Cocktail.

So cacao and green tea are not healthy? Both contain caffeine but polyphenols and other good stuff as well?

I REALLY do not like tomato juice. Can I use something else in the Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail?

You could use bone broth as a base or even use water. You will still get the benefit of the other vegetables and spices.

    Hi there ,
I am a big believer of the fat flash plan… I lost 50 pounds on it a few years ago . And I am heading to buy the new fat flash book tomorrow and can’t wait ..however I do not eating any meat or chicken ( I’m a vegetarian / not a vegan ). . I was Wondering if I will still have success on the diet and get enough protein?

Hi Amy, Congratulations on your past success with Fat Flush losing 50 lbs! That’s wonderful! You certainly can do the program now as a vegetarian. You can have Fat Flush Whey and Body Protein smoothies with 20 gm of protein each. Also you can have eggs to add to your protein. Other updates are in the New Fat Flush Plan, that you are going to love!

I’m 53 years old and I’ve developed what appears to be mysterious food allergies, and I don’t really have a handle on it. We had a Christian Woman class where we read one chapter in your book on Perimenopause, and I feel like the symptoms were all about me! I ordered the book and read the whole thing from cover to cover. I started a couple of the Peri-zappers and then I bought your New Fat Flush book while ordering some of the UniKey products. The Fat Flush Metabolizer Cocktail calls for cayenne pepper which is “deadly” for me – my throat swells up and I can’t breathe. Even being in the same room with someone using cayenne prompts a reaction. It seems like cayenne is a key ingredient in a lot of detox plans, and it is part of the cocktail. What can I substitute in the cocktail that might work as well that is NOT pepper-related?

Michelle, you can just omit the cayenne if you wish.

Love the plan and have changed my thinking because of it. One note, there is no reasonable index. Like simply pancaks. Or corn/ meal. Otherwise It’s great.
