As the panic buying subsides, grocery stores will soon have more fresh produce on the shelves and you’ll be able to get creative in the kitchen with my new Radical Recipes Cookbook!

I’m so excited to get this new resource into your hands now, while you have the time to look through it thoroughly and learn some new recipes that are sure to become family favorites! Whether you follow my Fat Flush plans, Radical Metabolism, or are just looking to eat healthier and avoid the “quarantine 15” weight gain, this brand new, 120-page instant download cookbook is sure to appeal to your taste buds – and cooking skills.

As my special surprise for you today, I’m giving you a sneak peek recipe from my new cookbook that is sure to become a family favorite. But first, let me explain how you can use these new recipes to boost your family’s immune protection – without gaining a pound. My sincere hope is that we all use this time to do everything we can to learn exactly what our bodies need to stay healthy, even during times of mental and physical stress.

Environment is Everything

One thing this illness outbreak has really brought home to us all is the importance of our environment in our health – especially indoor air quality. Everything from surgical masks to home air purifiers is flying off the shelves, with the promise of filtering this highly contagious virus out of our airspace. The air we breathe, the water we drink and bathe in, and the food we eat all contribute to either our health or disease.

With the right diet, detox, exercise routine, thoughts, and stress relief all put together, you can build rock-solid immunity and live your life with health, energy, vitality, and a healthy weight. This is what I teach in all my plans.

By changing our environment, we can change our health, our weight, and our metabolism. We need to detoxify our bodies and our environments to strengthen our immunity and every cell in our bodies. The latest research on the COVID-19 virus is that people who develop digestive symptoms from the virus have poorer outcomes, so we need to repair our digestive health and rebuild our microbiomes now to give ourselves the best chance at health.

When It’s Time to Fat Flush or Get Radical

The recipes in this book are so versatile they are both Fat Flush friendly and Radical Metabolism ready. They are easy to prepare, too, if you are just looking for a place to start on your immune-boosting health journey. With just the right amounts of healthy fats, nutrient-dense carbs, and power-packed proteins, you’ll be amazed at how simple and delicious healthy eating can be!

A common question I’m asked is when to Fat Flush and when to get Radical? If your body was a car, then the Fat Flush Plan is like getting a thorough detailing and “once over” of your car, while Radical Metabolism is like getting an engine overhaul and a deep steam cleaning. The good news is you can’t go wrong with either plan, and they work very well together if you want to combine them.

However you decide to use these plans, either by sticking to just one or combining them together, my staff of nutritionists and I will be there with you every step of the way, in both the Fat Flush Nation and Radical Metabolism Facebook groups.

I’ve been an instrumental part of a great deal of change in how we approach weight loss, what we now know about nutrition and how we perceive health and healing for more than 40 years, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I will continue to dig deep into new research and share this knowledge with you — through my websites, social media, books, and whatever new technology comes along that brings us together. Today that comes to you in the form of a delicious new cookbook full of recipes, and here’s a sample to tempt your taste buds.

Sneak Peek Recipe – Slow Cooker Meatballs

Just because you’re staying at home, it doesn’t mean you’re not busy. There’s nothing better than a fix-it-and-forget-it slow cooker meal when you have work to do, errands to run, or a house to deep clean. Just throw the ingredients in your Crock Pot in the morning, forget about it, and in the evening you have a fragrant, fully cooked meal the whole family will love. And when I say forget about it – I mean it. Try to resist the urge to lift the lid – there’s no need to stir, and every time you peek inside you need to add another 15-20 minutes to your cooking time.

Slow Cooker Meatballs

Who doesn’t love a good meatball? Serve these with spaghetti squash or just eat them alongside a fresh salad and steamed veggies.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 large egg or flax or chia egg (see recipe page 14)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup leek, white and green parts, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 jar organic marinara sauce

DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl mix together all meatball ingredients (save sauce to pour over last).

Form into 24 meatballs and place in slow cooker.

Pour sauce on top of meatballs. Cook on low setting for 6 hours.

Thank you Ann Louise! This is just what I have been looking for. Great information right now. The meat balls will be on my menu this week, they sound delicious. I was thinking I could use the recipe as filling for baked zucchini boats or stuffed bell peppers
