Can you reverse Osteoporosis without drugs? The answer is YES with this exciting new 12-Week Osteoporosis Protocol.

As I’m currently writing my own book on aging, I’m finding that a new book by my friends, Mira Calton, CN, and Jayson Calton, Ph.D., CISSN, Rebuild Your Bones: The 12-Week Osteoporosis Protocol is a “must have” for anyone concerned about bone thinning. And dear readers, you don’t have to be of advanced age to be concerned!

Mira was diagnosed with advanced osteoporosis at the age of thirty, and from that moment on, her world was turned upside down. Her doctor determined that her bones had deteriorated to those of an eighty-year-old woman. How could this happen to someone who was living what she believed to be a healthy lifestyle? Her doctor, believing that her condition would not improve, could only offer a lifetime of prescription drugs to combat the increasing bone loss… and pain.

Discovery Leads to Reversal of Osteoporosis

Mira’s determination to figure out WHY this had happened to her led her down a path of discovery for an alternative, natural treatment. After spending several years and a small fortune, she was no better off and nearly resigned to accept the prescription medications after all. And that’s when she met Jayson! Having already helped thousands of men and women with a wide variety of chronic health conditions, Jayson felt certain he could help Mira. And together, they discovered that the key to building strong bones lies in the right combination of micronutrients—the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and amino acids in the foods we eat and supplements we take. They safely reversed Mira’s osteoporosis and their program can help you, too.

Naked Calories and Antinutrients: A Recipe for Disaster

It came as a shock to Mira that her so-called “healthy” diet was actually contributing to her micronutrient deficiencies, and ultimately, her osteoporosis. In fact, the majority of the foods many of us eat are micronutrient-poor, filled with what the Caltons call “naked calories”—foods that have been stripped of their essential, health-promoting micronutrients. Our diets are also filled with antinutrients—naturally occurring substances in certain foods that can reduce the body’s ability to absorb micronutrients. In Mira’s case, she was getting plenty of these naked calories and antinutrients, but very few of the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and amino acids that her body needed to maintain strong bones.

In addition, they discovered that certain lifestyle habits, such as too much stress, caffeine or alcohol consumption, extreme exercising or poor sleep patterns may also be depleting essential micronutrients in our bodies. REBUILD YOUR BONES provides an easy-to-follow prescriptive plan to reverse these effects, including recipes and meal plans that will appeal to all readers (including keto, paleo, low-carb, vegan, and low-fat options), exercise advice, supplement plans, and checklists, including the forty healing habits that Mira used to reverse her osteoporosis.

I heartily recommend REBUILD YOUR BONES as the go-to guide for anyone who wants to safely and naturally reverse or stave off osteoporosis without drugs.

You will find REBUILD YOUR BONES in bookstores and on Amazon, or visit www.rebuildyourbones.com

It is critical for your readers and anyone considering purchasing this book read my comment in its entirety. Though I disagree with your opinion, I thank you for allowing it to appear without censorship, as people should have the right to form their own opinions based on all viewpoints and as much information as they can find. That said, I would like to share that this book, “Rebuild Your Bones” is not only spreading false information and giving false hope to those who read it, but it preys unfairly on a very desperate segment of the population — often older – who are clamoring to find natural solutions to osteoporosis. Not cool, and a dreadful shame that these authors have chosen to use osteoporosis sufferers for their own personal gain. As a holistic practitioner myself, and one who strongly believes in the most body-friendly and natural methods to address imbalances and dis-ease, I am sorry to say the protocol outlined in this book will not — actually CANNOT – ever reverse anyone’s osteoporosis, as osteoporosis (particularly “severe osteoporosis” as the author claims to have had (typically considered to mean > -3.0 T-score or any T-score combined with fractures) is typically NOT reversible to any significant degree. The authors are extremely ignorant of the many causes of osteoporosis and the many reasons why patients continue to lose bone despite any amount of supplementation and the most exemplary nutritional intake. Endorsing this book is irresponsible on many levels, most importantly because it encourages patients to seek only nutritional solutions, when there may be several of [hundreds] underlying medical reasons for osteoporosis that should first be addressed. I have read this book and it is nothing more than an “infomercial” for the authors’ line of supplements, and provides very little research-based evidence for many of their claims (many of the studies cited have been cherry-picked and quite outdated). And while there is nothing wrong with a company advertising its products, there are some very grave omissions in this book, for instance, the critical importance of proper lab testing to discovery all secondary causes, the monitoring of values over time to gauge the efficacy of treatment protocols, the use of bone markers — absolutely critical to understanding the rate and reason for bone loss — all things that nutrition alone may or may not ever be able to address. While nutrition (or anti-nutrition as they claim) is certainly very importantm to suggest that osteoporosis can actually be REVERSED is reckless and harmful to your readers. Please, read the book yourself if you have not, then study the mechanisms within the body that build and break down bone and the influence of vitamin D, sex hormones, parathyroid function, malabsorption issues, the use of OTC or pharmaceutical medications, and much more (none of this is found in the book, but can be found in many more helpful books on the market); and you will quickly see that REVERSING osteoporosis is RARE and extremely difficult, and generally not physiologically possible for most of the population, and certainly NEVER to the degree suggested in this book. Even the very top experts in this field — those who have osteoporosis themselves – have not been unable to reverse their own osteoporosis naturally, only stabilize it, thus there is no reason to believe the sellers of a particular vitamin supplement have done so, either. Finally, when people begin fracturing, the suggestion that nutrition alone is the best course of action is unfathomable. Osteoporosis fractures are not just painful and disfiguring, but life-altering, affecting the entire course of ones live forever, often lowering mortality, therefore it is downright disrespectful to anyone who has fractured to ignore the possibility that more can be done to prevent future fractures than nutrition alone. Bone medications, while carrying their own risks, in some cases are the only treatment option to prevent the multiple fractures experienced by a fairly large segment of this population. Clearly, the authors have stumbled upon an excellent way to market their products, and they certainly have every right to do so. But to suggest that osteoporosis can be reversed in this way — with a mere 12 weeks of training about how to do it – is frankly unethical and horrifying! Should you decide to delve further into the research — both natural and scientific/medical – the truth that will emerge is that the best one can hope for using natural methods is to slow, stall or stop bone loss entirely. Reversal, as you and the book suggest, is unfair and fraudulent. Thank you for not censoring this comment so that your readers may a real opinion from someone far more steeped and educated in bone health than either this nutritionist or the authors of the book endorsed in this article. For popular consumption, books by Dr. Lani Simpson or R. Keith McCormick contain far more useful and realistic information. For statistical and demographic data, visit the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) or the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF). And for scientific research, PubMed is the best place to discovery the real affects and impacts of trial protocols — results that may astound your readers choosing to follow the advice in this book. I don’t recommend it, and would suggest that aligning yourself with this particular book does not reflect favorably upon your knowledge or expertise. Thank you.

They did cover all that in the book. It seems like you started the book with some bias.

Ann Louise is just sharing the work of another colleague and never believes that there is a one size fits all solution to any individual’s health problem. The solutions offered in this book are just a part of managing osteoporosis. If the suggestions in this book can help even one person, Ann Louise is in favor of getting the information out there. We welcome comments of differing opinions as long as the language and tone remains respectful. You make many critical statements about the book mentioned in the article and your apparent expertise in this field. Without sharing your name or credentials it makes it hard for anyone to validate the authenticity of your criticism.
