I’ve been talking about parasites for years, and this question keeps landing in my inbox: “Ann Louise, do I need a binder when I’m on the 30-Day Parasite Cleanse?”
Not necessarily. The kit is Para-Key, Verma-Plus, and Flora-Key. One of the ingredients in Verma-Plus already has binding properties*. You are not missing a step if you follow the kit as written.
I still add UNI KEY’s Daily Greens Formula. One scoop contains eleven organic greens, and cracked-cell chlorella (a great binder) is a great addition during a cleanse. As unwanted organisms break down, they can leave debris in the gut. Chlorella has drawn research interest for its potential to bind certain metals and contaminants, so more of that load can leave with the stool instead of being reabsorbed. Stir one scoop into water or a smoothie, and you’re good to go.
Some ask about using activated charcoal. It’s fine, but the problem is that if you take it too close to a prescription or to the herbs in the kit, you may be grabbing the medicine along with the debris. If you use activated charcoal, start it a few days before the kit, keep it through the 30 days, and take it at least two hours away from medicines, meals, and the cleanse formulas.
My biohack is simple. Follow the 30-Day Parasite Cleanse kit. Add a scoop of Daily Greens. Drink your water, and make sure you are eliminating every day. Charcoal, if you use it at all, should be taken on its own, at least two hours away from meals and medicine.
