It’s the season of sunshine, warmer weather and…sweat!
My years of experience with cutting-edge detox have convinced me that to achieve and maintain weight loss and optimal health year-round, it’s important to integrate more advanced detox techniques beyond just diet and exercise. Sweating is one of the safest, advanced detox techniques for staying healthy. Sweat carries toxins out of the body and pushes them through the pores on the surface of the skin – your body’s largest detox organ.
Researchers have identified many toxic substances in droplets of sweat secreted from the body—including heavy metals. The more we can safely sweat (while maintaining adequate hydration), the more toxins can be released including toxic substances like pesticides, formaldehyde, nicotine, alcohol, and drugs.
Merely sweating outside in the warmer weather may have its benefits, but a far infrared sauna is the most effective way to stimulate gentle but deep cleansing while bathing the body with healing frequencies that enhance overall health and healing.
Infrared is much more thorough than other steam or heat sauna therapies. Infrared energy waves—which are part of the invisible spectrum of light emitted from the sun—can easily penetrate tissue to about three inches deep. By penetrating more deeply, the cleansing impact is dramatically enhanced. Just 30 minutes in a far-infrared can increase the metabolic rate to such a degree that you can burn hundreds of calories.
The far infrared heat generated by a Sunlighten sauna produces sweat that contains on average nearly 20% toxins versus only 3% in a traditional sauna—this means detox can be up to 7 times more effective. This advantage is achieved through their proprietary heating technology which allows the saunas to raise the core body temperature to over 100 degrees F. As a result, regular usage of a Sunlighten sauna can provide a deeply detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside.
For more advanced detoxification—especially for those with blood pressure, circulation and immunity concerns, it may be worth considering a full spectrum infrared sauna. Full spectrum infrared consists of near, mid and far wavelengths—all of which provide different health benefits including rejuvenating detoxification, circulation, relaxation, enhanced immunity, wound healing, balanced blood pressure, and even weight loss.
Another important factor not to overlook when purchasing or making regular use of a sauna is its potential for EMF exposure—make sure it’s made with steel conduit electrical shielding and ask to see third party testing for EMF exposure inside the sauna. When I asked Sunlighten about the safety of their saunas, they provided this report.
The good folks at Sunlighten have graciously agreed to offer my blog subscribers a free gift with any sauna purchase in addition to their Annual Summer Sale savings! For more information, visit them online or give them a call at 877-292-0020.
