cravings

A dieter’s worst enemy – those intense cravings that seem impossible to control.

Cravings will derail even the best of intentions and healthiest diet faster than any other challenge you’ll face. In Part 2 of my Metabolism Reboot Mini Video Course, I’ll teach you 8 quick and easy tricks to Reboot Your Metabolism and crush those cravings for good! If you are fat and fatigued with an over 40 metabolism, thyroid issues, digestive issues, or just want to lose weight the healthy way, then my Metabolism Reboot Mini Video Course is perfect for YOU!

Does this scenario sound familiar?

You got up early and hit the ground running – kids woke up late, husband had an early meeting, and you’re barely making it out the door on time. Skipping breakfast isn’t so bad, right? May as well start that intermittent fasting you read about and wait until lunch to eat. You can just about feel the weight coming off already!

Noon comes and you’re starving. The new healthier you bypasses all the fast food and pasta in favor of a salad with lean protein and no dressing. Then mid-afternoon the fatigue sets in, the stress of the day builds, and the intense cravings hit. The old you would be grabbing anything with sugar or caffeine, just to get a boost of energy to make it through the day.

Reboot Your Metabolism and Crush the Cravings

This scenario is all too familiar for most of us. Let me help you take charge of your eating and squash those cravings once and for all! Here are my Top 5 Tips for Curbing Cravings and Kickstarting Your Metabolism – the right way.

1. Fail to Plan and You Plan to Fail.

Rebooting your metabolism is about much more than just your diet – you also need to reboot your lifestyle. We started by detoxing your kitchen in the first video. Now it’s time to take a look at how to plan for success.

Take a realistic look at your week – when are the times of day you’re the busiest, and what’s the worst-case scenario during each of those times? Now, find the times of day – and week – when you actually have a little breathing room. These golden hours are your best time to plan meals for the week, shop, and prep – make sure to include the 8 cravings crushers I show you in today’s video, which are quick and easy to grab when time is short.

Radical Metabolism Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t heard of metabolixirs, you need to! They’re the healthy mid-afternoon pick-me-up that not only recharges your energy but boosts your metabolism as well. The recipes start on page 196 in the book. They are a must-have in your weekly menu plan!

2. Bust Your Stash.

All of us have one when we’re eating in a way that puts us on the energy – and blood sugar – rollercoaster. Somewhere you have them – those not-so-healthy quick pick-me-ups you rely on when you hit a low, just to get you through a few more hours. It’s nearly impossible to resist temptation when it’s staring you in the face. Time to throw them out!

3. Stay Hydrated.

Start each day with a tall glass of filtered water. It will wake up your digestion, get your kidneys filtering, increase your energy and mental alertness, and the best part – it will suppress your appetite and help you lose weight. And it’s paramount to your exercise success – losing as little as 2% of your body’s water content will cause your physical performance and stamina to suffer.

4. Get Enough Sleep.

Your appetite is dramatically affected by hormones that rise and fall naturally throughout the day. These hormone cycles are disrupted by sleep deprivation, which leads to strong cravings, especially for sugar. According to this study, sleep deprived people are up to 55% more likely to become obese, as compared to people who are sleeping enough. Not only that, but sleep deprived people can be more irritable, depressed, have trouble concentrating, a harder time dealing with stress, and decreased physical performance.

5. Avoid Extreme Hunger.

Contrary to popular opinion, hunger is not a dieting virtue! And it’s definitely not the time to hit the grocery store and do your shopping for the week. The right diet for you won’t leave you feeling hungry all the time – that’s a sign your cells need more nourishment. When rebooting your metabolism, there’s one nutrient you absolutely can’t do without, that makes you feel satisfied and rebuilds you at the cellular level. Find out more about this essential nutrient in today’s video – 8 Awesome Ways to Crush Cravings.
