Ann Louise Gittleman Interviews Dr. David L. Watts

Dr. David Watts
Dr. David Watts is one of the top biochemists in the country and the co-founder and Director of Research of Trace Elements, Inc., a federally licensed clinical laboratory specializing in Trace Mineral Hair Analysis (TMHA). In this interview, he explains why TMHA is superior to blood tests for detecting heavy metals, what parameters are necessary for accurate readings, and the connection between heavy metal imbalances and the chronic illnesses common in our society today including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and more.

Would homeopathics help with a calcium metabolism problem? My calcium has been high for several years despite not eating a lot of dairy until recently (fermented yogurt), however, this year’s reading shows elevated magnesium and calcium in relationship to other minerals as well. Taking more pills doesn’t seem to be the answer – wouldn’t homeopathic remedies (five phospates for example) help rebalance these things without all the pills?
