I’ve seen this over and over again: people doing all the “right” things—eating clean, taking their supplements, detoxing—and still feeling off. They’re tired, foggy, congested, inflamed. And then we realize… the problem is right under their roof.
One of the simplest, most overlooked ways to reduce mold exposure is this: open your windows. Just a crack. Just for 10 or 15 minutes. Morning and evening if you can.
Most of us live in sealed-up houses now. Great for heating bills, not so great for your lungs—or your thyroid, for that matter. Mold spores, mycotoxins, and stale indoor air get trapped and recycled, day after day. And if you’re sensitive—and so many people are without realizing it—that low-grade exposure starts to wear you down.
So here’s what I do. I open a window while I’m writing. I open one while I get ready for bed. It doesn’t have to be a production. It just needs to become a habit. The fresh air dilutes the toxins. You breathe easier. You feel clearer. Your body isn’t fighting as hard.
Small shift. Big payoff.
